One of my favorite books of 2013 has to be Almost Somewhere: Twenty-Eight Days on the John Muir Trail by Suzanne Roberts. I loved so many things about this book, I really connected with Roberts’ thoughts and views as a woman backpacking in the wilderness. From seeing how men and women relate to the wilderness differently to figuring out your voice within nature.
